Project: Nova Coat by Papercut

Skill Level: Confident Beginner Dress Making
This pattern is a wardrobe essential and teaches you essential skills for outerwear.
In the class we will take you through:
- How to sew with wool or like fabric
- How to sew in a lining
- How to sew raglan sleeves
- How to sew pockets on curve
What you need to bring:
- Your fabric cut into the pieces required
- Your printed pattern (email download sent to you after purchase)
- Matching thread for fabric and bobbin
- Basic sewing kit – pins, chalk etc.
- Your machine - we recommend bringing your own sewing machine if you can. Overlockers not required.
What we will provide :
- Sewing machines – only if you are unable to bring your own.
- Basic equipment such as pins, measuring tapes, scissors and cutting mats
- Ironing facilities
- Instruction booklet – we will print this so you don’t have to.

As this is a one day workshop and we want to be sure you complete your project we ask that you cut out your pieces at home. As there are few pieces to cut out, we are comfortable you will complete this task with ease at home. If this makes you nervous, let us know in advance that you intend to cut in class, but be aware this might delay you finishing your piece.
